He will manage the shift from a clinical lab to a full-service Clinical Research Organization (CRO). He has been a board member of Cambridge Biomedical since 2010. In this new position, he will be responsible for all operational areas.

April 6, 2016 — Steve Perrin, CEO of the nonprofit and research sides of ALS Therapy Development Institute, announced that the nonprofit is collaborating with Denali Therapeutics to speed up clinical trials and reduce costs for companies searching for a way to fight Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease.
Gordon Hirschman, CEO of Vivonics, announced the sale of the company’s new artificial lung technology to Lung Biotechnology. Vivonics develops new medical technologies using grant support and then sells it for commercialization. This project was supported by the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute of the NIH (grant #6R44HL091593-04).
